A mainstream electronics company (I believe Magnovox, but I'm not sure) has
been using a song in all of their commercials lately. I am wondering if it
is something they made up or a clip from an old song (more likely, in my
opinion). The part they use goes

I've got to admit it's gettin' better
It's gettin' better all the time

Does anybody know where this comes from? If it is from an old song, do you
know what song, who it is by and what the full lyrics are? I greatly
appreciate your help.

I haven't heard the commercial but those lyrics are from "Getting Better"
by the Beatles, Lennon/McCartney. It was on the Sargeant Pepper Lonly
Hearts Club Band album about 1967

Philips uses "Getting Better" for their commercial.
Although it was a Beatles song originally, a group called Gomez does the
version on the commercial. Last i heard, they were gonna release it on
their next album... but i'm not sure about that.
