I must correct Coleen's reply to your question about "Crimson And Clover".
The song was a hit for Tommy James & The Shondells. The lyrics go like
this:

Crimson and Clover has also been sung by a more recent group "Spanish
Fly". They're really good, you might like to hear their version of it.
