Anyone have MP3s from Liz&Lisa tapes?

The tapes were Liz & Lisa and Days were Different. Used to have them
but got stolen!

These were the tapes Lisa released with her roommate Liz at Brown around
1991 or 1992. They have different versions of songs Lisa later
released. The combo of Liz & Lisa was even better than Lisa solo.
Somoneone must have these tapes they could make available by MP3.

That said, its up to you, but you won't find them anywhere. I am not allowed
to distribute mine and I don't because I was asked not to. And seeing as
only a handful of her fans actually have the tape, and most of them know
Lisa's views on this, I doubt you'll find them. I'd be happy to set you up
witha taped copy, but that's where it ends.

I have asked Lisa's permission personally to reproduce the Liz & Lisa Demos
into Mp3, and she said no. So, if you find them, you are going against
Lisa's wishes.

Thanks Tea. It's too bad you asked Lisa. Of course Lisa would have to
say no. She doesn't really have the rights to those tapes, they were
done with other musicians involved, like Liz.

Music fans frequently distribute hard to find recordings and artists
tend to look the other way.

Thanks for the offer to send the tapes. I'll see if I can't get them
from another friend first. If I can't, I'll let you know.

she wrote them ;)

Lisa's answer was that she would ask Liz, but it was highly unlikely.

Like I said, Im happy ot make a tape, just not Mp3's .
