Err Umm
If you have the vinyl and therefore presumably a working turnable plus
a computer you do not have to be a rocket scientist to
rip the vinyl to a digital format and thus to a CD. I have mysrelf
seen and read scads of web pages and magazine articles on how to do
this
If you must have a CD
there are currently a pair of Salute CDs on offer on Ebay for a "Buy
it Now" price of $16.56 or $20.64 the latter with free shipping
or if you are determined to get the album for free use some initiative
and do a Google (or Bing) search for
gordon lightfoot Salute torrent isohunt.com willl set you up for it
with a set of losslessly compresed FLAC files.
A torrent yes, you must then find outknow how they work and how to
save them hints:-
search for " bit torrents wiki" and the free utorrent program
and then you can burn the flacs to an audio CD
using the freeware burrrrn program yes three r's
BTW my copy of Songbook has no less than three tracks from Salute on
it
but the title track and Tattoo are only on the actual Salute CD
