I just spent a bit of time on the forum in the thread about tour
announcement/info coming soon. Folks are going crazy over there.
Jarkko should just jump ship and come over to the ng for a break. I
can imagine managing the forum is starting to get on his nerves. It's
so good to still have this group that feel's like the real deal.
We've matured over the years and it seems like our gathering around an
appreciation of LC doesn't depend on if, when, or where the tour
continues or doesn't. His work is the place I think we've all gone
and will always be able to go regardless of where he is. So happy to
still connect to those of you who wander over here on occasion.
(Of course, it's understood, I hope LC is not getting caught up in the
frenzy of his "come back" and is taking good care of himself.)

interesting to watch some people jumping to conclusions and
apportioning blame as quickly as possible! I guess it doesn't occur to
them that an announcement can't be made about something until they
KNOW. Duh!

(And notice how cool and mature I've become by not going crazy over
the obvious fact that LC continues to heal your cats for you, even if
they're stuffed!
I also forgive you for those silly priorities you have of visiting a
special "old" friend and your family rather than taking a road trip to
visit me! hehe

Gadzooks! So what do I do now? Give in to my morbid curiosity and
go see what's going on at the forum or relax into my carefully
cultivated
sense of peace and presence?
A few nights ago, sleepless, I wandered back into 1999 on the
newsgroup.
There was a fire down below... misperceptions flying about. Hurt
feelings and
flames and accusations aplenty... I truly had forgotten a lot of the
controversy
and then remembered how painful it was at the time. I think I spent a
good
two hours reading my own and others past life.
Well, I've decided. If I'm not mistaken, Bonnie Hunt, on daytime TV,
has boycotted
the show, The Bachelor, but she has her assistant watch it and report.
So, Dar and
Sean, I'm leaving the forum alone, but please, keep me up to date on
the goings on,
here, ASAP!!!

I haven't gone back there to read mine, but I know I was in the thick
of things for awhile too, hurting and hurt and all the hullabaloo.
I could be way off on my take of the pic Sean posted on her FB page of
LC and the stuffed kitty. Perhaps assuming, a tendency I have since

I've been wrong in the past, and Sean know's that!, so if I've spoken

It's totally ok! I was in LA for 10 days, but sadly didn't make it up
to the Needles area. I really wanted to do a desert side trip this
time, but I settled for a drive up the coast to Ventura, which was
awesome. Made me so homesick I may have to move back. I've been in a
funk ever since I got home : *(
I have a pretty good job in Portland, so that's a problem. I think
I'll send out some resumes and see what happens, but the job market
has really suffered down there, too. Oh decisions, decisions!
And Babs, I must confess I spend some time goofing around on
twoshakesofalambstail now and again. I wonder if greg handed over the
administration of it to someone? I assume someone has to manage it's
upkeep. I hope it's around to peek into now and again and I'm really
grateful greg put the time in to create it.
So I guess the forum is going through one of it's "let's grab the
torches and git somebody" phases. Good times!
