Alannah Myles speaks out on breakup with Robert Plant - Decided against
being "Mrs. Plant".
(Dec. 22) For the first time, rocker Alannah Myles spoke out on her
relationship & breakup with Robert Plant, during a telephone interview in
Toronto. Rumors of their romance were widely reported back in 1990, which
lasted several years.
Myles said she strongly encouraged Plant to continue his solo career (in
1993), while "his partner, management and record company desired to take him
down the Led Zeppelin-remake trail. I was trying to assist my lover, my
man... with the decision." When asked how the relationship ended, Myles
explained: "It wasn't business that ended it ...I don't know why. I went
to America instead of going to England and marrying him. I sacrificed my
love life for my recording career. We tried to stay in touch... it didn't
work out. He was torn... "

what recording career???...she sunk so far out of sight. One hit does not make
a career. IMHO marrying RP would've given her career a major shot in the arm.
Imagine Percy doing your backing vocals and you see what I mean.
I don't know about that. Robert did the backing vocals for Tori Amos on
'Economium' and that sucked IMHO.
Shayna :)
By the way, Neal, I noticed up on that Electric Magic link that Page and Plant's
favorite show was the one in Dallas. This confirms my impressions and the
impressions of other people who had been traveling with them: that Dallas may be
their best show to date .... I strongly urge people to find the bootleg! I even
more strongly urge them to travel by nook or crook to their next show there.

Hi Me,
I am reasonably certain that Greg was referring to 98.
