I came across something that said that Brian Setzer (of the Stray Cats) did
some shows with the Honeydrippers. I'm curious. Any information would be
appreciated.

Hello!: Brian Setzer played with the Honeydrippers on Saturday Night
Live in the later part of 1984 (not sure of the exact month / day)

I may be wrong here, but I believe he played on certain tracks on the CD.
I'm pretty sure he played on "Rocking at Midnight" on the CD. The problem
with the CD, is that there are no liner notes to say who performs. Plant's
name isn't even on it. I know that Page played on "Sea of Love".

Jeff Beck also played on The Honeydrippers album. Don't know which songs
though.

Brian Setzer did not play on the record. The SNL show that he appeared on
was the 94 xmas show, so it must have been sometime in Dec. Jeff Beck
played guitar on "Rockin' at Midnight".

Was on the album...I saw him accompanying Plant on Saturday Night
Live (did Rockin' At Midnight and a Christmas song)...if they did
perform live I have no doubt he was there, but I don't know if
they ever did...anyone?

Since this thread started, I have learned that the guitarists on the CD
were Page, Beck, and one other whose name escapes me right now. You can't
get any information from the liner notes of the CD. Setzer only performed
live. It would have been a treat to see Jimmy doing his Sea of Love solo
on Saturday Night Live, but I'm sure he was either touring or doing
something somewhere of equal importance.
