Not everyone reads this ng all of the time, nor do they always download
every post. People come here to ask questions. If you've seen teh
question asked before, you can either answer it nicely, or move along.
Simple choice.

Think how annoying it'd be if no one answered any questions. People would
either get irritated or there wouldn't be any posts at all. Often
questions people ask spark discussion on the related topic.

Gee, this seems WAY OFF TOPIC, doesn't it? How is this a bad thing? It's
fairly intelligent. It's what people want to hear. There are a lot of
people in here who want to hear about the concerts since they can't go.

Well, I assume you can read the headers. If you can, just don't read the
post if it doesn't interest you. Simple. No one is asking you to download
every single post. That's your choice.
