Also, here on LI there are a ton of KMFDM fans, whenever i wear a KMFDM
shirt, i usually get a lot of comments from other fans. I'm still hoping
the indi store by me will have a release party but i doubt it, there more

I assume so... all the obvious ones are anyway. I'm not sure, but i think
you may actually be allowed to own one plant for "personal use" in some
states, but definitely not this state.

Australia tends to be VERY conservative in its laws with respect to
drugs/sex/other things. (ie the legal age of consent for homosexuality is
21, while for heterosexuality it's 16)

That doesn't make sense... dealers cut stuff so you have a larger
quantity, thereby making it more expensive for the consumer and more
profit for the dealer. As far as i know, speed is a lot more expensive
than weed. I have heard of weed sprayed with Mortein (fly spray)
though.

Okay okay okay

Let's get this right

Hetero is 16
Gay is 18
Alcohol is 18
Driving (learner's permit) is 16 and a half, add another 6 months for
provisional license, add another three years for open license.

Weed is not legal anywhere in Australia for any purpose. It's an urban myth
that you're allowed to use it for personal use. The law is that you can be
done for a max of 2 years for the smallest amount of weed (don't ask me why,
but I was reading all this stuff about the punishments yesterday...it's in
my student diary, which is kind of handy)

All drugs, to my knowledge are illegal here. They're pretty strict about
it, but I've only heard of one person (that I knew/have met) being busted
for drugs by the cops. Then again, I don't exactly know any drug lords :)

Yeah, I found that Legacy album for like $2 bucks at least a year ago, but I
never got around to listening to it until the other day.

I have no Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks stuff. Not a big fan. I love Pink
Floyd, I dunno why I have nothing of theirs yet. So many artists, so little
time, money, and room to put them.

You keep your cds in boxes? Man, that's weird. One of the best things
about owning cds is putting them in bookshelves/other storage mediums
and rearrange them every month or so. I once did an autobiographical
arrangement, but right now my cds are sorted by style.

There was a guy at my high school (a fairly wealthy private school I may
add) who had snow cones one day (at school) and apparently he was found in
the lunch break kicking the shit out of a drink vending machine, before
collapsing unconscious, at which point an ambulance was called (the cops
were on their way at this point, no doubt)

I kind of knew the guy too.

If you type 'classical music' into google, don't you expect to get a lot of
results? Start downloading on AG, and leave it on when you go to bed,
collecting classic music CDs could become a very expensive habit, and you
should at least know what you like first. Watch out for mislabelling
though, it's pretty rampant on file sharing communities. Also, do your
homework and learn about the composers, their styles, and the periods they
composed. Chronology is very important to know when these guys were doing
their thing.

I don't think I'm that interested haha. It's not one of my favorite styles
of music, but it's nice to listen to once in a while.

Hey, there was a band I saw on mtv2 once that was like an orchestra but it
had a dj and a few other oddities, anyone know who I'm speaking of?

I love the Tick

I haven't watched it in a few years (it's not on free-to-air TV anymore) but
it's one of my favourite cartoons ever...

How could you hate a superhero with a sidekick named "Speak" and a warcry
"Spoon"?

No, no, there's a live actiion version on the air here in the States. the
animated version that came out years ago, I did really enjoy that one. I
really miss that, Earthworm Jim, and Toxic Crusaders. God, those shows were
funny. If anyone can hook me up with episodes, please drop me a line.

There are some of us who thought it was a sacriledge when they turned the
comic into a cartoon...though I changed my mind after I saw the cartoon.

"Wait a minute, there was a Tick comic?"

I find it very odd with the vast amount of music you guys talk about on
here, that I have BY FAR the most CD's, etc. Damn, I rock!
