Sadly, Steven Tyler *isn't* being treated for an addiction to the
Judas Priest album Painkiller...

A big Happy Christmas and Merry New Year to everyone!
Rock Hard Ride Free...

I have no pity for this guy. He has been in treatment before, he likes
it. I have never had any pity, compassion for drug addicts or
alcoholics.

There were periods where I played PK endlessly for days in a row.

Where's my rehab and treatment? ;)

I can see how this happens though. I mean some of those painkillers
are very addictive.

Even some of those real crappy hit songs like Don't want to miss a
thing? The only thing I want to miss is ever hearing that song again.
Now I do like a lot of their 70's output. Even some of the 80's stuff
up to the Pump album. After that, though I don't really like anything
I've heard by them.

I like a lot of what they have done, even the song you mention has
nice meaning to it.

They can be but you have to realize its time to stop. I have been on
many PK's during my life and after a certain point I stop them myself
and tell the doctor that I'll deal with the pain.

They are but I think some people are more prone to becoming to
addicted to them than others. They can be a real miracle drug when
you need them as long as you don't overdo it.

But the physical addiction can be very real and make it it very difficult to
quit cold turkey.

I won't argue on the meaning, I just don't like the song.

I haven't been on any. Just aspirin and that type stuff, which is
nothing like prescription pk's.

i don't hate any Aerosmith songs(not counting the Just push Play cd),
but some i can live without hearing again, Cryin, Crazy, Amazing(aren't
they the same song anyways).

as i have said before, early Aero is beyond essential.

Sort of feels like it.

> as i have said before, early Aero is beyond essential.

I really like the early stuff.

Tom

No, really I do.

I played football and hockey during HS and College so I have been on
quite a few. You just have to know when to stop using them.

There's the reason. Never played sports to that degree. Just pickup
games, which always ended before broken bones.
