believe the third person is actually James Taylor, not Eric Clapton. If

Nope. It's Eric Clapton.

I'm pretty sure it's James Taylor too, although I don't remember what
Clapton looked like in those days.

Okay, can somebody point to another picture of Clapton with that hair
and moustache style? Looks just like JT around the time of Mud Slide
Slim. Note also the long arms. JT is four inches taller than Clapton.

Thanks---yeah, hard to believe it isn't James. Also I don't think
Clapton has as much nose as James.

Thanks. Clapton looks a little chubby there, with fluffy hair, not much
like that string bean in the picture with Joni and Crosby. Yes, the
sideburns and mustache are similar---that's about it.

That's Clapton, I'm 100% sure.
He used to have a bigger nose. I'd guess it got smaller for heavy cocaine use. I don't think he's the kind of person who would do a nose job.
