They're called The Haulers, and they've got a brand new album out
called The Anchor and the Waves. The Haulers draw their influences
from artists ranging from Bob Dylan and Beck to The Beach Boys and The
Moody Blues. I think you would enjoy their "Modern Vintage" sound, a
refreshing break from the monotony of today's so-called popular
music.
BUT!
Don't be fooled, this is not just a rehash of times gone by, as The
Haulers blend modern chord progressions and harmonies with a familiar
production style influenced heavily by strange bedfellows Brian
Wilson, Todd Rundgren, and Brian Eno.
Enough already! :D
Head over to http://www.myspace.com/thehaulers and sample some of the
new album and dig the sounds. I think you'll like them....
