There is a movie called Biggles that is worth viewing. It is American
flavored and has a sci-fi plot in that an American is transported back
and forth through time to help Biggles and his merry band of men. Biggles
ends up in the present too. It's probably not real faithful to Biggles as
Ian knew him, but I am not going to make a major study out of it.
Todd
The protagonist of a series of adventure stories written by Captain
W.E. Johns. I used to read them as a schoolboy. Biggles was a pilot and
very, very intrepid. He did everything from fighting in the two world
wars, to capturing smugglers. Also of note were his pals Algy and Ginger.
Hope that helps :-)

Biggles is a character invented by author WE Johns (featured in over 80 books). He
is a pilot born at the turn of the century, and is therefore involed in both World
wars and a lot of adventures in between. He is of course an ace, who always wins
(as always in these boys own adventure books.) At times they can be quite good
reading (espec the ones about WW I)
Hope this helps

Just a point of information you might like to know. Biggles was also
featured in a few Monty Python sketches.
