DCC vs 25th Aqualung

With all the controversy regarding the differences between the various
versions
of Aqualung, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth (again) about DCC
vs 25th Aqualung.
I recompared these two this morning, and, despite using a new pair of
headphones this
time ( for anybody that's interested;JJ float electrostatics instead of
Stax), the DCC still has the life that was sucked out of the 25th.
Denoising removes the hiss & hum, but along with that goes the "feel" of
the album to some extent.The Jimi Hendrix remasters
(Experience Hendrix versions) backed down on the heavy handed initial
use of Sonic
Solutions denoiser seen when first released on Warners.As far as I am
concerned, the
noise that is evident is not that objectionable anyway. See Steven

But beware the MoFi TAAB- save the dollars-buy the 25th TAAB
