Speaking of...one time I saw the Didjits in Chicago, and Rick had
layrngitis, so David Yow filled in on vocals. He wore blackface, and
didn't really know any of the words, so instead mostly just stood
silent, just giving the audience the finger.
I also heard that John Spencer (Boss Hog/Blues Explosion) and Chris
Spencer (Unsane) are brothers, but who knows.

that would be a very odd combination...
damn...now i'm trying to imagine the whole family...a band with jon, chris and
christina...
sounds scary...

They kinda look alike, but I doubt it.>

HA HA HA I wish I coulda saw that show :-)
David Wm. SIms and Rick Sims are not related.
Jon Spencer and Chris Spencer are not related.
Rey Washam was never in the Didjits.
I know Pete Shore was on COld Hands but I odn't know if CHris ever had anything
to do with Boss Hog I don't have "Drinkin' Leechin' and Lyin'" so someone might
check that.

thanks

I don't know that he ever played live with them, or was officially a
member, but he is the drummer on their "Little Miss Carriage" EP.
(Recorded after Rick's real brother Brad "Weiner Dog" Sims left the
band).
but, mr billions, do you know if he had a relative who was an animator...an
alex (adam?) washam...

If I recall correctly, Rey is related to Ben Washam who was an animator on
a lot of Chuck Jones stuff. This other Washam might be in the family.
You are correct but that was a studio job only. He was never a member nor,
as far as I can recall, did he ever play live with them.
ben...that's the name...i just couldn't think of it...

saw the jl tonite. they did not play an encore. i was kinda disappointed. 45
minute set i think. but all in all it was pretty good. it was a hoot to see
david yow sing the first three songs suspended above the crowd in a small bar.
