OK, Out of the Loop, my feature-length documentary on Chicago rock bands
and fame in the music industry, is now available on home video.

There is a lengthy segment on the Jesus Lizard/Touch and Go/Steve Albini
plus many other Chicago luminaries (but no Billy Corgan). The ladies out
there will be happy to know that if you look really, really close, you
will see David Yow in all his manly glory during Then Comes Dudley. Mr.
Denison also gives his two cents worth on the value of rock critics.

If you'd like a list of record/video stores in your area that carry it,
please email me at rai...@tezcat.com. You can also charge by phone by
calling (800) 84MUSIC.

For more information about the movie, go to www.tezcat.com/outoftheloop.

Later,
Scott

i saw this video when it played at school. very cool stuff with the lizard,
albini, and this fat ass music critic who insults our heroes.. it spans alot of
chicago music, from veruca salt to some industrial. if you hate that shit
(veruca salt are really annoying sometimes) still check it out for the lizard
footage. it has parts from the concert in that was mentioned in the rolling
stone article a couple of years ago. and duane is quite witty.

i'm taking out of the loop off my trading list b/c i want everyone to buy it
and support independent film makers like scott, not because duane emailed me
and said "i was causing problems".

the jesus lizard stuff is really good- A+ audio and video. if anyone met
brenden the t-shirt guy from the west coast tour, he is also in it playing
drums for the wesley willis experience.

did you give him a hug? wesley willis has this compilation cd of all his songs
about rock stars and bands, and david yow is quoted on the inside of it.

Wesley isn't the type of guy you just go up and hug. Talk, yes, but
youre better off just saying 'hi' and letting him do what he wants. Most
of the time he'll be cool. He's been known to harass people at The
Quaker Goes Deaf if they don't come out with one of his CD's in hand.
