The Sound Kings These guys put on one hell of a show! The Sound Kings
play a dynamic set with an energetic pace
by showcasing their original music, which reaches from one end of the
pop music spectrum to the other. You’ll hear
straight-ahead rock songs, funk and folk- influenced tunes, and even
a few moody ballads. Every Sound Kings show
involves the crowd, including their “stump the guitarist” challenge
(name any radio-played 80’s song and he’ll perform
it for You) and a shockingly bizarre selection of cover songs that
tend to get people laughing hysterically and singing
along. Three singer/songwriters make for an eclectic musical style
that keeps the listeners interested. The Sound Kings
have a depth of talent and an original sound that sets them apart from
most Boston bands, and their live show is unlike
any other.

Off and on jam band since 1996, finally getting serious in fall 1999, The Sound Kings are an upbeat bunch of local
musicians from the Boston area (boasting only 1 Berklee grad!) Harmonious and fun are the two words that best
describe us for our live show. We enjoy playing in front of any crowd, anywhere. Jamming catchy hooks and great
lyrics to well written music, occasionally throwing an original "spin" on a well known cover that always catches the
crowd by surprise.
