please respond to my query. several friends and i have had an ongoing
debate about whether the title of the ig's double live album is called
12:00 Curfews or 1,200 Curfews. any ideas?

It's the latter, to my knowledge......an estimate of how many shows
they'd played at the time (one curfew per show ;)

I think it's 12:00 curfew because at the end of one of the songs Amy says
"well we got to go we've gotta curfew" most probaly it was around 12:00
when she said that so therefore it's most likely that it's 12:00 curfew. I
guess if you ever find out for sure drop me a line at...........

the album title is *1,200 curfews*, read *twelve hundred curfews*

this can be found in articles pertaining to this release. the indigo
girls have done around twelve-hundred shows since they have started,
meaning they had *twelve-hundred curfews* to make.

Nope. I have an interview where Amy pronounces it "Twelve hundred
curfews", so that's what I'm going by. Of course, we're still not sure
if its Indigo Girls, or THE Indigo Girls, so...
Merry Christmas everyone...

well it is 1200 curfews but on one of the songs they say we gotta go we
got a curfew, so i always assumed it to be 12:00, at least IMHO.:)

From what I remember from discussions on the list, it's 1200, as in
"Twelve Hundred".

it's 1200 curfews. i.e., number of shows they've played; if you listen to
the album, on one of the tracks, amy says "we've got a curfew" after they
finish one of their shows. it's a retrospective of their years
together--@1200 shows, give or take. I love Amy and Emily, and have
passed in to adulthood on the strength of their music...
