Do you by any chance know how she died? JL

Unfortunately, Emily's parents are Don and Jane, and she does have a
sister named Carrie. I know the elder Saliers, and this indeed would be a
tragedy if it's true. I haven't heard anything about it, but I haven't
seen them since Sunday. The spiritual ones among us should keep the
Saliers family in our prayers.

I'm sorry for the repeat, but I was on vacation, and my usenet server is
the flakiest thing .. what happened to Emily's sister? I went to the
accessatlanta.com site, but you can't see old obits, as far as I could
tell. Anyone know?
Thanks..

I tried the link above to take a look at the article and unfortunately it
only shows the current day's listings. I did a search of the stacks at AJC
and came up with this article title: "Carrie Saliers, 29, librarian, sister
of Indigo Girl", written by Celia Sibley, 03-07-1999. Unfortunately (again)
you cannot view archived articles without an electronic library card which
you have to pay for. Does anyone have a copy of it that they might be
willing to post?
Full of it,
Grace

This makes sense to me. I can recall the death of Karen Carpenter, who also
fought with depression and an eating disorder. Excessive vomiting and
starvation weakened her heart over time. After she "defeated" anorexia and was
greatly improving, she died from a heart attack, too.
