Kelly McMichael, who has won a few MusicNL awards and an few
ECMA awards and was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize, and
has been part of Sarah Harmer’s touring band, is now playing
a solo gig every Wednesday night from 8--11 p.m. at
The Black Sheep on George in St. John’s, Newfoundland,
for only a $5 cover (plus tips if you like).

I caught her tonight and was very impressed. On these solo
gigs she does a mix of covers and original. On May 12 she
will be performing with her full band and will do more originals.

The current Black Sheep location took over what was
The Fat Cat, which I had previously soul aligned with
Cat, the species someone of the cat species, which does
not want to give up that alignment. But tonight I aligned
the bar (basically the wood around the bar that you lean
on when ordering your drinks or hanging out) and also
the Black Sheep sign behind the stage with Sheep,
the species someone of the sheep species. I also
did a linkage of the new location with the old smaller
location including the mural in the alley outside.

Anyway, I don’t know if my Pan type workings have any
effect, but they are fulfilling to me at least.

On an unrelated note, earlier when listening to
The NewFound Records Radio Hour on CHMR,
I facilitated a soul alignment between Joan Morrissey
and The Rose and Thistle Pub in St. John’s.

I’m not going tonight since I’m in the middle of an
activation sequence as I am describing on
alt.religion.druid . If my brother had wanted to
go I would have gone, but he has opted out
this week.
