Yes! It's about time I saw a mention of some bands that I not only
recognize, but actually enjoy. Not to disrespect modern H/C bands, but
I must admit very few capture the energy and the message of H/C bands
circa 1980-1986. Please feel free to disagree...

Freeze (on record, maybe not live)

I also want to stick in the FU's/Straw Dogs, Jerry's Kids and Tree.
And maybe 10 Yard Fight if I see them live again. And DYS had their
moments.

Don't know Endless and Funny Wagon (who the hell are they?) but Eye for
an Eye were cool and the one time I saw Kingpin, they were amazing.
Get the 4 song 7" on Suburban Voice if you ever see it.

Joanie (can't speak for the rest of the Funksters)

Intent to Injure, I remember getting that 7" years ago from Blacklist
(RIP). I think it had a dog on the cover, right? Blue wax, etc...? Yeah
they were pretty good but as far as Boston shit goes, it's gotta be:
1.Siege
2.Impact Unit
3.SSD
4.DYS
5.Jerry's Kids (1st one ONLY)
6.FU's *and* Straw Dogs (anyone remember THEM?)

>ANAL CUNT

This band has been around WAY TOO LONG. What a binch of losers.

Yeah, I had their 88 song ep (7" vinyl) in '88-'89, and I saw them a few
times, and I thought they were kinda good.

Until they came to play a show and destroyed a friend's equipment on stage
to be cool.

then I heard the HATE SPEECH that these guys espouse. A freind recently
saw them in nyc and told me about how they were flaming homosexuals and
acting out stupid sarcastic shit on stage. They are just a bunch of stupid
metal head -grind core fucks, and seth, the guitarist/ vocalist, is
especially lame.

get's back. I think we're playing Boston so I'll see you there
