Greetings! There's a bit of organ music I just can't seem to get out of my
head. I'm not familiar with jazz/blues organ and was hoping someone here
could identify it or the artist for me or even tell me where to find such
music (I'm not even sure what to call it). Anyway, the music occurs when
Susan Sarrandon's character Annie takes Crash and Nuke back to her house
and they show the 'shrine' of baseball. I really like this style and have
been going thru albums at Amazon etc. playing samples and just haven't been
able to find it. Just one of those things that just keeps buggin ya.
Thanks Much!!

Go rent the DVD and check the credits at the end of the movie for the song,
artist, and label. It will be there.

When this same question was posted to the Yahoo Hammond list I looked
at the full credit list for the movie on the internet movie database
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094812/fullcredits)

Music credits are:

Original Music by
Michael Convertino

Non-Original Music by
Max Freedman (song "Rock Around the Clock")

Since I don't recall any organ on Rock Around the Clock, I'm guessing
the organ was part of a piece written by Convertino. I checked into
him and he doesn't appear to be an organ player. OTOH, now that I
think of it, there was a snippet of "Try a Little Tenderness" in that
movie that's not credited above, so maybe there are a bunch more songs
credited in the actual movie.

It's Wayne Peet, a keyboard, organist, and piano player. He does the organ in Bull Durham.
