8/10/02 - WOW FTP Update

I know it has been a long time in coming but we have been up to some great
things.
- First and for most, we have switched servers so we now have more slots and
bandwith to accomodate the extra people Local H and Silverchair have brought
in. For thoose computer lamers out there :P this means your downloads will
move more quickly. We also have a new address, so if you are having trouble
loggin on to the FTP check the website and update your favorites.
- Next we are working to design a new site at another address so that the
FTP won't be down at all! When the other site is ready, we will simply
switch from one to another and all the groups and you will be notified
- 3 Updates...We have updated 3 times since our last mailing and have added
tons of things. Most notably
Weezer classical
2002 green day shows
local h demos and videos
silverchair diorama vids and b-sides
and butch walker solo shows
..and for thoose of you who don't know him, Butch walker is the singer of
the marvelous 3, who just released his first solo disc. It's not your
typical shitty acoustic solo album, it's just like the marvelous 3 and it
totally kicks ass, but isn't selling and is getting no air play :'( if you
are interested in checking him out let me know and I will send you a sampler
via AOL IM. After that gettin the rest is up 2 you :P
- There is a new rotating poll up on the site
- The requests folder in the uploads section is huge! we have so many
requests and a lot that have been filled. If you made a request, go check
that folder and see if someone filled it for ya. If they put up a whole
show, it's been moved to the "live shows by other bands folder"
- and finally. Uploaders...we appreciate all you do and if you would leave
us your email address, site link, or any contact info in a small note with
your upload, it would be greatly appreciated. We will have a spot on the new
site just for you ;)
