You could always ask Kirk...
"It is with extreme sadness that I report to you that my friend,
Anthony Burger passed away last night while playing a solo onboard
ship, on the Gaither cruise. I received a call about 8:50 pm. Early
reports say that he was playing We Shall Behold Him. He stopped
playing and started trembling and then collapsed. First reports said
it was a heart attack. I didn't want to announce it right away
because I knew hardly none of the family had been told, I wanted to be
respectful to them and didn't want them to see it on the internet
before hearing it from the proper people... ...Anthony was a great
friend to me. Two years ago, when my world fell apart, he would call
me several times a week to make sure I was ok. I will miss his
friendship, his talent, and his great attitude."
I can think of no other way that he would have chosen to go other than
doing what the Lord wanted him to do. One minute playing praises to
God the next seeing him face to face.
No formal funeral plans have been announced yet, but I believe that they
will be held at Christ Church on Old Hickory Blvd, in Nashville. The
church is the largest one in this area that would hold everybody, and is
near Brentwood, TN where he lived.
I rarely post here, but I felt like I needed to do this.

The cooks avoid the freezer section for most of the cruise?
Are you a recent graduate of the Kirk Talley School of Comedy?
You won't have to worry about the cooks confusing the stiff from cabin 265A
with the side of beef intended for tomorrows meatloaf.

I'm guessing Gaither will go with Gordon Mote...and that's IF he wants to
continue having a couple of piano features each night...he may not go with
anyone other than someone to be in the band, in which case, I still think
he'd probably choose Gordon Mote.
Of course, if he wants the best available piano player, he'll steal Stan
Whitmire from Mark Lowry.

I thought YOU were the best piano player around? <g>
Riiiight...have you listened to any of the sound samples I've put on my
blog? I play OK, but I'm certainly no genius at the keys.
