Reliable sources report that a major gospel artist has been diagnosed
with Multiple Sclerosis. Please consider this an anonymous request, at

Why the secret?

I always have problems praying for what's-his-name or unspoken.
Having MS is not a disgrace. I wish we could pray for them by name.
(But I do respect their privacy.)

I agree Paul, it`s like you said it isn`t a disgrace, but I do like to
know who I`m
praying for. But I will pray , for prayer changes things.

It isn't a secret... I just don't feel it's right for me to make the
annoucnement,,, and include a name. The artist didn't ask me to keep
it a secret.. I chose not to reveal.. but just to ask for prayer. I
am sure the artist will have more to say soon.

Our Senior Pastor has been sick since late summer, and now MS is one of the
possible diagnoses being investigated. I've known enough people with MS to
know that prayer will be their best weapon (but of course, that would be
true in any case, wouldn't it?). We'll pray for this anonymous artist, & if
anyone out there is willing to pray for Pastor Trevor & our little flock it
would be appreciated as well.

Perhaps this explains Mark's decision to leave GVB a few years ago, and
seeminly keeping a low profile since that time (although he did do a video
and CD) since that time.

Good observation, Willy. MS episodes can be triggered by stress. Mark always
used to say that because he did not read music he was always stressed out in
learning a new song with GVB.
The travel and lack of sleep being on the road can cause stress as well.
We wish Mark well in his future struggle.
