A video,.. featuring Amy Gann's song, "When Heaven Smiles" ..is now
available for viewing at www.southerngospelreporter.com. The project
is actually a compilation of more than 70 photos of SG couples.. set
to Amy's new Christian love song.
The video/slide show picture collection includes shots of Darrell and
Chris Freeman, Anthony and LuAnn Burger, Scott and Taryn Fowler, Three
genrations of Speer couples, Jerry and Jan Goff and dozens more.
Video producer Chuck Peters said: "The minute I heard this great love
song by Amy Gann and Brent Rader.. I wanted to do something special..
People say it's kind of fun to watch the video and try to name all the
artists who appear."

somehow it just doesn't seem right to put a pic of Anthony and the
woman he left his wife for up there with other great couples. ruth

It could be worse, they could show Phil Cross with his 3rd wife (or is it
his 4th?)
Unfortunately, even in SG we find that divorce is as natural as it is in the
secular world.
Many of the SG stars have been divorced, committed adultery or have been
found out to be gay.
We hope that our music people are different but we are just becoming a
cross-section of America.

And many posting here seem to have "haughty eyes", "lying tongues",
"hands that shed innocent blood" and feet that rush all too quickly to
"stir up dissension among brethren"....not to mention those who
neglect their bodies, call in sick when they need a day off and cheat
on their taxes...but then again, the sexual sins are the only ones
that count, right?
SG stars, or as you put it, "our music people", are just
that...PEOPLE. NONE of us are without sin.

This "troll" is a CSWF...that's Christian, straight / single (thought

And this, coming from a grown man who continues to call himself
JUNIOR?! But then again, considering that you would choose to resort
to name-calling / childish banter rather than stay on subject, I guess
the name fits.
Actually, Jr., while the name may mean "Father-like", it also means
"from Attica". I'm not. And while there may very well be an
alternative rock band out of Knoxville, TN with the same name, I do
not listen to alternative rock music, so I wouldn't consider myself a
fan.
Since you brought it up, the name was derived from Atticus Finch's
character in Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird". Just in case
you've never read the book, (which by the way wouldn't be the least
bit surprising) Atticus' character was the voice of morality and
reason. It's a name that my friends have attached to me since college
and one that I'm not in the least bit ashamed of.

I am a junior because I was given the same name as my father. Even though he
passed on 21 years ago, I honor him by continuing to use Jr. after my name.
If you find something humorous about that then it is YOU that has the

I've actually meet Slopak(aka Jr.) and he's a good guy in person. He
does have his reedeeming qualities. He's not a McKameys fan or

Maybe it wasn't this woman (who is soaking up the spotlight of
Anthony's death)maybe she came after Denise Hopper.
Even still, Eva and THEIR(Anthony) children deserve the peoples
sympathy and condolences. Luann will probably always be seen as "the
other woman"
