We want your help in finding the greatest poet in music?
A panel of literature experts, music critics and general public are
looking for the writer of the most poetic lyrics. To nominate a song
e-mail to poe...@freemail.com.au the name, lyric writer and complete set
of lyrics of the song and if possible, the copyright information. The
lyric writer will be withheld from the panel to avoid bias. Nominations
close 30 November 1999 and only those lyrics nominated by the general
public will be considered for judgement. Dylan, Springsteen, Michael
Jackson, Joni Mitchell, Jewel, Madonna or your choice. Who will it be?
Get your entry in quickly as you can not rely on others to nominate your
choice. A web site will be created soon to keep you up to date of the
happenings. Stay tuned right here for further updates. You are able to
nominate more than once as long as you send all relevant details.
