Many great 60's records have been released on CD with additional unreleased
or rare tracks added for extra interest.

Is anything known about the existence of unreleased Golden Earrings tracks
from the time of Just Earrings to Winter Harvest (1965-1967)?

As far as I know, the releases of Just Earrings and Winter Harvest to CD have
the same tracks on the their record counterparts. If you're looking for a good
compilation, there's a CD called "Singles 1965-1967" which has (almost) every
single from that time, minus "Not to Find" and the Coca-Cola single.

The CD can be easily ordered from Casper for around F 35.

Hope this helps,
Jason

The only 'known' unreleased tracks are: Not to find & What's in a name. These
were both flipsides of redrawn singles.
Insiders say that there must be about 6 or 7 recordings with Frans Krassenburg
(vocal) recorded to be on the 'Miracle Mirror' album. These songs were all
distroyed, because Frans left the band, exept one song: Sound of the screaming
day. This song was released because the Golden Earrings badly needed a new
single.

Bye,

Nick

Destroyed - what a shame! I wonder if they were of the same quality as
'sound of the screaming day' ...

And are there any rumours about the 'Winter Harvest' sessions?

The guy asked for unrealeased tracks. Some of those tracks are indeed not on
the official cd's but most b-sides are not available on cd unfortunately.

Hi there,
I understand that I've put some stunning news on the newsgroup, by reporting the
seven unreleased tracks with Frans Krassenburg.
For privacy reasons of the concerned people I cannot give you any names. Casper
Roos has got a name from me by seperate mail, so he can check this message out.
The news comes from 'round 1970 and was spread by a ex-collegue of mine who used to
work in a youth society, where Golden Earring(s) performed often.
He was aware and was allowed to listen to never released tracks. Casper got the
details.
I also gave him some information about a 'special' CD released in Belgium, probably
a bootleg, with some curious tracks on it.
I hope someone can help to get more information above the water.
Bye,
Nick

Hi there,
I received an E-mail today, that said that one of the Frans Krassenburg tracks was
called 'Silly Chap'. Later on he recorded it on a solo-record. Another track should
call: 'Looking for that land'. Later this song was recorded by a singer called
Bojoura.
Hope to get more information soon.
