What exactly is said in this article? Any chance for a quote?
The above is pretty much it, I'm afraid - it seemed to be a bit of a
throwaway line at the end of the article.

Thanks, meanwhile someone send me the quote per mail. It says:
"word has it from various prog-friendly rock writers that ex-Marillion
singer Fish may soon be working with Tony Banks of Genesis and Pink
Floyd'd Dave Gilmour."
It's apparently a hoax. Someone on the Fish mailinglist asked John
Wesley (Fish's current guitarist) about that. Wes said that he knows
nothing about it.

No but actually it's interesting that you say this because I just recently read
an article about Pink Floyd that said they basically have considered themselves
to be defunct now.
Fish, at least, would have said something by now.
It has been denied by TB on the official Genesis site.
