Augsburg's site license for Mathematica covers all student-owned computers, as well as the lab computers. Students can request an activation key with their Augsburg email address using the following form: After submitting your request, you will receive an authorization code and download link, and Wolfram ID via email to use for your installation of Mathematica. Login with your assigned Wolfram ID and download your Mathematica software. Your activation key will be good for 15 days initially, and will be automatically extended once approved by Augsburg IT staff. You will recieve an email regarding the authorization key approval. (Returning students wishing to renew their password should contact Wolfram directly using the information that was sent to them with their password.)
After installing the software, you may be prompted for an activation code. The activation code for UA is available alongside our Account ID. After this information is submitted, you will be able to activate and download the software.

This means anyone at Purdue, whether faculty, staff, or student, can legally download their own personal copy of ChemOffice Professional and install it on their machine, at work and at home. Here are the steps for downloading and installing the latest software:
After logging in, if you are eligible for a Site Subscription, two links will appear on the right-hand side of the screen: My Site Subscription will give you access to the download files, and My Downloads will show you all serial numbers that have been assigned to you, including those for a Site Subscription (as well as any trials or other software you may have purchased).
The University of Bath has a site licence for ChemOffice+ Cloud, provided by DD&T. This includes Chem3D, for Windows only. Excel is part of Microsoft Office Suite, which is available on the computers in the chemistry labs and help room, as well as most of the computers in the computer labs on campus. To find a computer lab that has Excel, you can use the OIT Lab Software Search Page. CU also allows students to download and use Office 365 ProPlus for free. Instructions on how to do so are located on the OIT website.
MestreNova (or MNova) is installed on all the computers in the organic chemistry labs and helproom; feel free to use it at any time that the labs are open. CU Boulder has purchased a site license for MestreNova, so you may download and install a copy of this program on your own Mac, PC, or Linux machine. Note that you must be able to connect to the campus servers to download the license file, and also to activate it. If you're on-campus, you must connect to the internet via UCB Wireless, not UCB Guest. If you're not on campus, you will need to use VPN as described above. Make sure that you're actually setting up and running VPN according to OIT's instructions! Just downloading the VPN will not do anything.First, if you have an older version of MestreNova installed, uninstall it.
Avogadro and GAMESS are free software used for computational chemistry. Avogadro is available for Windows, Mac and Linux; it can be downloaded from the Avogadro website. GAMESS can be downloaded from this website (only accessible from on-campus or via VPN). Once you have installed GAMESS, go to the folder where it is installed and open the README file.
BKChem is a free (as in free software chemical drawing program. BKChem is developed on GNU/Linux. It was however successfully used under WinXP and MacOS X. It was conceived and written by Beda Kosata and is currently maintained by Reinis Danne.
