In article <3kv4po$q...@newsbf02.news.aol.com>, kj...@aol.com (Kj roo) says:

>hey guys, I was noticing that the one of the back up vocalists (who has

>mean she and Stevie are related and are perhaps the parents of Jessica
>James Nicks (Stevie's niece from the Street Angel CD)?? Anyone have info?
>And by the way, Did everyone catch Stevie on Letterman and Leno this
>summer? She rocks!!!

Yes, that's correct...I think they got married in '87 or '88, and since
the "The Other Side of the Mirror" ('89), Lori has dropped the 'Perry'
and is now known as Lori Nicks.

And yes, that means that Stevie and Lori are sisters-in-law (Stevie only
has Christopher as a sibling) and that Lori and Chris are Jessica's
parents.

I missed her performances on Letterman and Leno (unfortunately), but it's
good that she is getting out and promoting more!

Stevie was really cool on Letterman, even tho she and Dave kinda talked
over each other alittle bit. But I was really surprised on Leno, she
acted kinda zoned out. Then again, Jay was also alittle bizarre, touching
her hair and all...

I saw Stevie on Leno, and I gotta say I was disgusted to say the least.
Not with Stevie...but with the fact that they had her sandwiched between
some comedian and a trained seal. I'm serious. You know how they
usually save the best till last in those shows? The trained seal was
last! Stevie was reduced to scooting down on the couch while Leno
cavorted with the seal.

The final image I remember from that show was the credits rolling across
the screen, and Stevie, the Queen of Rock and Roll, with her back to the
camera staring in the direction of the seal.

I don't know how Stevie felt about all of that, but I know I've had
better days.
