Here's something I've been curious about and wonder if anyone else
thought about this too...We all know Stevie is Topless on the LP cover of
Buckingham Nicks...but have you ever noticed the bare breast featured in
the sleeve of the TUSK LP ?
It's a profile of a bare breast and a woman's arm...the size of the
breast and the arm look identical to Stevie's...I wondered if anyone else
ever thought that it was Stevie or wondered if it was Stevie. It's a very
small picture and is only included in the original album release...so
don't go pulling out your CD and saying 'I don't see any breast'.
I just wondered if it may have been an outtake from the Buckingham Nicks
photo shoot...I remember reading how Stevie said she didn't want to pose
nude and that they made her do it...and she was crying the whole time.
I've heard from a guy who works for a celebrity magazine, and he
mentioned having many topless photos of Stevie from that photo shoot, but
he wasn't allowed to publish them...but he did publish the photo from the
Buckingham Nicks LP cover along with a cartoon of a nude Stevie with a
giant tear running down her face.

It's also interesting that Stevie only posed nude before getting
implants...and I still have a hard time believing she had implants since
1976...she certainly didn't need them and I know that they gave her
problems years later...but she did think that her appearance on stage was
important...and no one can deny that she was once a sex symbol.
That is a very big part of why so many people comment on her weight
nowdays.

As far as I know, the nude woman in Tusk is Carol Ann Harris, Lindsey's
ex-girlfriend, who was a part-time model.

I think they were more for shape than size, your right, she didn't need
them, and she isn't that small now. I think she still is a sex symbol, I
guess 'people' magazine thought so also.

Pardon me, Nicole, but this is NOT *ALL* I think about, and when have I
ever posted anything else reguarding this subject?

If you haven't noticed, I've been responding to other threads in the
rec.music.artists.stevie-nicks group since my ever popular debut posting
reguarding Stevie's performance on Jay Leno...I realize that this one and
the first were cross-posted to the Fleetwood Mac newsgroup as well, so
perhaps you are reading this from there...but for you to keep attacking
me for anything I post, it is rather childish and rude.
I see nothing in the newsgroup name that says,
rec.music.artists.nicole.owned.stevie-nicks.group
If you aren't interested in the topic, move on to the next one...maybe
someone else would find this of interest or would like to respond with an
intelligent response.

Stevie Nicks may ONLY be a singer to you, but to many others, including
myself, she is a celebrity...and I am interested in all different things
about her...pictures, TV performances, concerts, books, articles, info,
almost anything relating to her...and I have a right to have an interest
in this, because it is something she has done for the public to see.
And she has talked about it in interviews...which she would not have done
if she didn't think anyone was interested.
There are many sides to Stevie, and it is not for you to say what people
can and/or can not find of interest about her...what I can and can not
like or dislike about her, etc.
If her physical presence and appearance was not a part of her work, then
she wold not have photos of herself to go along with her albums or music
videos, or posters, or books, or picures in magazines, or make TV
appearances, or even public appaerances of any kind.
If you are going to discourage people from posting to this newsgroup
because you do not share their opinions on all things, then what is
really the point of the newsgroup...perhaps you should create a new
newsgroup and call it "rec.music.lets.praise.stevie-nicks.only"
This isn't even a *fan* newsgroup, so it's open to just about ANYTHING
about Stevie Nicks or related to her.
Anyway, I didn't even say anything that was knocking her in any way in
this thread, so you have no reason to be attacking me.
Clearly, Stevie has been selling her looks and sexuality from the very
beginning of her career...that is a FACT not an opinion...so you'll have
to get over it.
Also, she is a woman first...singer second.
If you can not face the fact that men and even other women have a
physical attraction to Stevie, then you'll have to take that up with God
- Not ME!
And to imply that I'm only interested in Stevie for my own sexual
gratification, is not only an insult, but is total ignorance. You do not
know me, therefore, you have no right to say what I think about and what
I do not think about.
I am trying to find out if anyone happens to know the identity of the
bare breasted woman that was featured in the sleeve of the TUSK album.
I have a right to ask that since the photo comes with the album.
It doesn't mean I want to drool over Stevie's breasts...you already know
from my debut post that I have no interest in her physically anyway, so
why do you think that is only what I'm interested in?
Even if I was...what business is it of yours?
Do I care what you find physically attractive...do I attack you for it?
Are you saying to me that I can listen to Stevie...but I am not allowed
to look at her?? I honestly don't get what you trying to say...though I
think you'd find some reason to attack me no matter what I'd say.

Let's not turn this one into a big flame war too...ok?
No one is forcing you to read my posts...since everything I say seems to
upset you so much...it may be best that you don't read anything I post
for now on.

I should be saying 'geez'...I'm the one that had to type all that out :)

Trust me, I didn't take her coments too seriously...I wasn't even going
to respond, but then I suddenly felt inspired to do so.

And no, she was being Sarcastic...which is a bit different than just
kidding around.

Believe it or not...I'm a very easy going person, fun to be around and
usually a very nice guy (cute too)...all this is about was some comments
I made about Stevie on Jay Leno...some of which came from frustration and
being disappointed...it seems that some people took those comments far
too seriously and are just being mean because I said things that they
found offensive...I don't exactly regret saying what I did originally,
but I didn't exactly mean some of it to sound the way it came off
sounding...when you start off on the wrong foot with people, they will
forever hold that against you...if people want to think I'm such a
terrible person for making those comments, so be it, but they do not
really know me, and they also don't know that I'm not the type of person
to even say things like that...they seem to think I'm like that all of
the time...trust me - I'm Not! That was really a first for me...usually
it's ME that takes a lot of criticism from others.

Why I resonded was because I don't want her post to discourage someone
else from anwering or commenting on my question.
