The Boston Globe's "Top 25 Albums of the Year" turned out to be the
biggest piece of shit the Globe has produced since Dan Shaugnessy.
While the Killers got snubbed for "Sam's Town" and the Flaming Lips got
snubbed for "At War with the Mystics" both albums which will be
remembered 20 years from now, the talentless Ray Lamontagne was
nominated for his sophomore slump album "Til the Sun Turns Black" which
includes one good song (Three More Days). And even though it's most
likely a publicity stunt paid for by his promoters for a concert at
the Boston Orpheum it is anything but right. In case you are just
becoming aware of the fact that he is having a concert in Boston soon,
need not worry he couldn't sell out a coke vending machine in the
Sahara desert. If you are smart you will go to your local trashy bar
and pay a five dollar cover charge to listen to a local cronie who is
just as talented.... atleast you wont have to listen to a bunch of 15
year old girls screaming at the top of their lungs as if it was Paul
and John's first tour to the United States.
