Dedicated to those folks who not only fail to learn from the mistakes
of their own children, but try to keep others' children in ignorance
so they'll make the same mistakes too.

(What A) Wonderful Night

(To: "(What A) Wonderful World" by Cooke/Alpert/Adler)

Don't know nothin' 'bout STDs
Or the facts of biology
Don't know nothin' 'bout birth control
They don't tell us 'bout that in school
All they teach us is abstinence
But if I can get into your pants
What a wonderful night this will be

They don't use no psychology
They just use ideology
There's an awful lot that I don't know
'Cause we're supposed to just say "no"
Sure we're s'pposed to use self-control
But we've had enough alcohol
What a wonderful night this will be

Now if we're standin' up when we do it
Surely you can see
That there's no way that we could make a baby
When you make love with me

Don't know nothin' 'bout STDs
Or the facts of biology
Don't know nothin' 'bout birth control
They don't tell us 'bout that in school
All they teach us is abstinence
But if I can get into your pants
What a wonderful night this will be

All they teach us is abstinence
But if I can get into your pants
What a wonderful night this will be

I'm glad you liked it. (And thanks also to others who've commented.)

Do you know if a multi-part arrangement of "Wonderful World" has ever
been published? I'm not good at picking out parts from a performance.
And I don't know if a small recording project is feasible, but it's
somewhat tempting to try.
