God I hated those guys...I was at the Philly show, the reason that they were
probably talking shit was because the Philly crew booed and hollered at them to
get off the stage.
I mean ferchristsake! What band has the balls to show up opening for FNM
wearing masks!? I mean who the hell do you think you're trying to fool? "Oh
look! They're wearing masks on stage, I wish I could remember the name of that
other band that does that!"
Maybe they can get away with that opening up for Korn (which is like hearing
the same band twice isn't it? -why not just have Korn play two sets?)
But it don't fly at a FNM show.

hey i was at the philly show too! i laughed my ass off at limp bizkit.. i
never heard of them before and there i was watching from the balcony the band
get booed off stage and fuck up most of the time anyway... my freinds and i
thought they were ripping off of mr bungle coming out in masks at first....
then the lead singer does nothing but curse at us and flash his middle finger
every five seconds! but it was classic (a highlight) when guitarist smashed
his guitar and stormed off stage... but its all cool cause
the whole experience made me much much much even more excited to see faith no
more! hope they return to philly this summer or something

Limp Bizkit did that crap at the Columbus show in September, too. He said
"fuck" at least two dozen times, flipped us the finger, asked if anybody wanted
to fight him, etc. Besides the fact that they put on a lame show, they didn't
even have good music. They sound like Fisher-Price My First Korn or something.

Limp Dickshit sucks ass.... I'm sure that thunderfag band expected as much, as
I greeted them with the first of many heartfelt "FUCK YOU"s from I and other
bemused and outraged fans at the Vegas show. I wish that fucking "singer"
would've challenged ME to a fight... I also regret not bringing a brick to
that show. But Faith No More flew in and fixed everything. Our heros.

To top it all off they must be sucking off the program director at MTV & M2
because everytime I seem to turn on those stations they're on playing "videos
from our friends"...IE every other lame ass band in the world. I am yet to see
them play a FNM video! I guess they're talking shit about FNM cause they must
feel like shit knowing that every single night during that tour they got
they're asses kicked by FNM.

I guess Limp Bizkit just got done doing a headliner tour called "Ladies Night"
or some shit like that. The gimmick was that at every show women would get in
for free or for a couple bucks.Something outrageous like that. I guess when
your band sucks big dick you'd have to resort to something like that to get
people to come out to your gigs. Does anyone out there have their album? A
friend of mine at their label sent it to me saying I know you're a huge FNM
fan. Our new band is gonna tour with them check 'em out. I did, and almost
every song is this loser singer bitching about some chick. I'd also like to
add that I saw their video a few weeks back and it show'd this singer flashing
"L" "B" gang signs. What a dumb fuck.

My best friend went to the Denver show and left after seeing Limp Bizkit.
Saying that's the only reason he went to the show. I had been trying to
convince him for years that FNM is the best band out there with no luck. Now
he has all 4 FNM cd's with Patton, and he calls Angel Dust the best album he
has ever heard. Some people are so STUPID!!! To make a long story short now
he regrets it. And when I talked to him about the show he said something to me
like "Well FNM weren't cool back then."...my reply was "No John you weren't
cool back then."

well.. we booed them off the stage in philly before the fnm show.. they were
that bad.. the only reason they're making any noise is that they have
lethal.. and even he was an idiot that night.. they were saying things like
"this songs for all you faggots out there.." and sticking there middle
fingers out, etc..

then faith no more comes on.. after a few songs mike patton sticks up his
middle finger and says "i guess you all know what this means by now" :)

ha.. limp bizkit will never make it anywhere.. it's funny that their single
is called "counterfeit".. it's a perfect description of the band..

I had to lay down 16 bucks because a female friend and I wanted to see Clutch.
She just got to walk in the door...that sucked. Why was Clutch opening for
these lame hacks anyway? It's painfully obvious that they're the superior
band...oh well.

See, I saw Limp Dick at the last Warped Tour in Pompano Beach FL. They're the
reason the Pompano Beach Amphitheater isn't allowed to have any more shows. I
could hear them clear on the other side of the park cursing like no tomorrow,
just really unprofessional, juvenile stuff. Then they turn around and are all
slick on MTV. They're so bogus.

And this bullshit MTV show about "the future of metal" being Korn (who suck),
Limp D, and Deftones (who aren't so bad). More like "how MTV is making metal
mainstream and techno." The moral of the show was: these "metal" bands are okay
because they incorporate hip-hop. Funk dat.

I agree Prnzo, however I think you and some others in this newsgroup may be giving
Chimp Bisquick a little too much attention. They completely suck. I saw them at
the Sept 16 FNM show in D.C. and they hella-sucked a big slimy one. They are
complete clones of Rage Against The Machine (who to me are writing the same song
over and over -- one trick pony's IMHO) and all the singer did on stage was cuss
people out. Fuck you, fuck that, fuck, fuck, fuck. Now there's a real original
act. How'd these dickwads land the OZZfest gig? Who the fuck is making these
decisions? Why not FNM godammit!!! Is it because they're not trendy, or hip-hop
(Which I hate)? Unfortunately, one of my other favorite bands is Nine Inch Nails,
and Reznor is going total hip-hop with the next album. That's big downer for me.
I think we have enough hip-hop already thank you very little, Trent. About the
only band on the OZZfest that I see with any integrity left is Megadeth. At least
they're still rocking. Also, I agree about Chuck. I was one of those dudes that
refused to buy any pre-Patton FNM albums. I finally gave in because I was dying
for more FNM. Introduce Yourself is a hell of an album, and once you get used to
Chuck's voice, it really grows on you. At first you don't like it though, because
we're used to the greatness of Mike Patton.

limp bizkit also makes frun of korn and any other band they open for cause that
is how they get attention. I was at the show in NYC and all I saw was hardcore
kids. They only songs they knew from FNM were the songs from King\Fool and
AOTY. It was pathetic when mike patton asked what they had for dinner and noone
said Zombies. They looked around the room when they played Introduce yourself,
and friggin EPIC. what fucking losers. I was pretty upset when i found out who

Did you say Snot? They're playing OZZfest? I personally know the guitar player
Sonny Mayo. He used to date my sister for like five years. In fact I lived
with him for a year in Va. Haven't talked to him in awhile. He has another
side project band that is much better than Snot, called M.F. Pitbulls which
features the drummer of Ugly Kid Joe, Shannon Larkin, on vocals. He picked up
and left Va and went to L.A .a couple years back. Now he's playing Ozzfest?

kewl to my memory. I was the only one to scream out "Pills for Breakfast" when
Mike asked the crowd, how about that?!?! The marijuana comment was pretty funny

I read in Guitar World that TRT was Korn's lead guitarist's biggest influence
in playing, as far as albums. And I wouldn't necessarily associate Deftones
with Korn and LB... Deftones has the right idea, I've been with them as far as
listening since their 1st album, which was quite a bit rough around the edges,
but they had a couple GREAT soundtrack tunes... their 2nd album is a great
piece of work, and I knew they had it in them to produce that kind of material.
it's often misconstrued as being part of the "rap-metal-crap" movement, but
they're original, have a unique sound, and I know good music of any kind when I
hear it, and they check out just fine. Listen to the LP "Around the Fur" with
an open mind sometime, you might just see that it's not the poser shit they're
associated with.

Now, while i hate limp bizkit, i will admit to liking Korn, although i
understand
why people hate them. but it is a common misconception that deftones sound like
korn, which i have to disagree with. while occasioanly they do have that rap
thing going, deftones are a lot more melodic and not as bludgening. Deftones
are definatly "poppier". i just don't see the comparisons.
