Having heard the original version first (I haunted Harmony House daily
until Shepherd Moons was finally released) and the English version
much later, I prefer the English version. The mix is a lot brighter
and the ending is different. On the original the vocals are kind of
muddy from too many overdubs and it ends pretty suddenly. Maybe
that's how it got to my "least favorite" status.

I love that piece. It's probably the "darkest" piece she has put out,
with Pax Deorum a close second. If Enya put out an EP with those two on it
plus a few new ones in that "darker" style, I'd buy it immediately.

: usually skip BOOK OF DAYS. Oh yes, and ALL of TMoT.

I have yet to hear the original version of BOD. The English version
does not sit well with me sometimes, knowing that the original is somewhere
out there.

While I like "Storms In Africa", "Storms In Africa II"
seems...well...somewhat shallower to me. I like it fine, but not as well
as "Storms In Africa". Now my very *least* favorite track is the one
right after "Evening Falls" and before "The Long Ships", I think...Now
that track gets on my nerves...
