I read on this group that someone did not like Jeff's wig on BOP what is
that all about?
Is he wearing a hat ?

I seriously, seriously doubt it. Why do I doubt it? Look at any of the
new pictures taken of him. If it were a wig, I think it'd look neater
than that. In a few pictures it's all uncombed and everything... plus in
an interview about Roy Orbison about ten years ago, he looked pretty
unkempt too, and it was the same color as his beard. I don't think they
make "I don't comb my hair" wigs.

Wigs don't necessarily have to look neat and with the state of the art
manufacturing of wigs today it can match any beard colo(u)r. You may
doubt that Jeff wears wigs but I don't. I myself tried to believe that
that was Jeff's hair but my ex and her friends put we wise (via strength
in numbers) about it.

Does it REALLY matter?!

Jeff could have three ears, for all I care, so long as the music is good.

I guess to some it does. And I'm still a fan of Jeff whether he's bald
or not. I guess the wig debate can be settled by 3 people (Jeff's first
wife Rose, his second wife Sandi, and his current squeeze Rosie Vela).
Since I won't be home Saturday I wish Jeff Lynne a very happy 53rd
birthday.

this is better than the debate last year in the Moody Blues newsgroup as to if
Justin Hayward dyes his hair!

Oh yes, actually it's terribly important! Jeff is a perfectionist in
the studio and mere stereo recording has long since become rather passé
to him. Quadrophonic is a little old hat too, but having that third
ear makes for a really cool looking headphone apparatus and radical
sounds (especially for overhead thunder sounds from Out of the Blue)!
So Jeff's baldness was only temporary while he underwent the knife to
get that third ear pasted "up top":

But fear not, he's looking rather Brillo (sic) again and back to eating
solid food and Wheaties!

Salud!

Wha???? Steven's gonna refrain from making a comment here?! Gee, just when
i'd gotten to the stage of counting the number of times the word "I" appears
in his posts, (to amuse myself when i'm bored sh..less!). Maybe he IS
getting old!

This announcement was brought to you by the Ashley and Martin Hair

Yeah this *is* better, since there's no question that JH has bleached his
hair for years. He also must be balding, because why else would he have
stuck to the same out-dated combed forward style for 35 years (OK, it didn't
looked *that* out-dated until about 10 years ago) . <hee hee hee>

But the Hayward stuff got pretty nasty as his female followers get pretty
defensive if you try to tell them that!
