Damn,

Sorry if you are reading this post for the second time, but it disappeared from
my listing. I am interested in getting in touch with Jeff Lynne's/ELO's
management company for possibly trying to get a photo pass for a show in my
area during the upcoming tour. I am not a professional photographer and only
want to take pictures for myself and to give away. Any help woul;d be greatly
appreciated.

Well, is there any address we can write Jeff or the other band members
fan mail? Same question goes for Orchestra as well. What are these
addresses??

My advice is get to the gig early and ask for the person in charge.
I've shot many a show for my paper (from bands like Cheap Trick on down to local
bands) and the general rules (if permission is granted is)
1) no flash photography
2) usually no photographs after the first three songs are performed
3) the management may want to have copies, make sure you give them an address and
phone number to follow up if you don't follow through. Having a photo ID is helpful
and almost required.
remember:just because you were given the permission to shoot doesn't mean you have
the right to the images. That is if Jeff's and ELO's images are trademarked. If so,
there may be some sort of fee involved..

E.L.O. used to be managed by Derek Franks International, and as far as I
know, they still are. He is a friend of the family, also manages Suzie?
Quatro, etc. He has a website http://www.derekfranks.co.uk/index.html if
this is a help to anyone.
