There are three Miss B. Haven songs that Jeff Lynne produced: Nobody's
Angel (which has been incorrectly labeled as "Making Love in the Snow"
on some Napster files), You're Wrong, and Sand in My Eyes. He also
sang backing vocals and played guitar and keyboards on those three
tracks.
The songs were recorded just prior to Jeff's Armchair Theatre and
released just one week earlier (hence the AT sound). Also, Miss B.
Haven's drummer, Mette Matthisen, played drums and percussion on
Armchair Theatre.

to the mid-nineties. They had a healthy following as a poethic and melodic
band with slight new-wave tendencies, that faded away over the years. In the
late eighties their label wanted to launch them internationally. So their
greatest hits were re-recorded with English lyrics and with the help of
producers Jeff Lynne and Duncan Bridgeman.
Though their original sound was better matched on Duncan Bridgeman's tracks,
the 3 songs produced by our Jeff are quite good as well.
And Don, "Making love in the snow" was NOT one of Jeff's songs! He produced
the tracks "Nobody's angel", "You're wrong" and "Sand in my eyes". I know
for sure, 'cause I'm holding the CD in my hand right now!
The sound on the tracks is typical Jeff Lynne of that era and thus
compulsory in any JL-fan's collection!
Unfortunately this album wasn't followed by any marketing, so few outside
Denmark ever noticed it. Miss B Haven continued to record a few more good
albums and tour Denmark in the nineties, but have been quiet the past 5
years.
However, the lead singer and composer Lise Cabble along with drummer Mette
Mathiesen have composed 2 entries in the Danish Eurovision Song Contest,
though sung by other people. First time in 1995 with "Fra Mols til Skagen",
which made it to the international contest. Second time this year with "Uden
dig" which came second to the fabulous Olsen Brothers.
Miss B Haven is by my opinion the best of Danish Bands to come out of the
eighties. With or without our Jeff!
A little trivia:
Our Jeff liked Miss B Haven's drummer Mette Mathiesen's style so much that
he persuaded her to play drums on most of the tracks on "Armchair Theatre".

Yeah, the MP3 I posted is indeed "Nobody's Angel", not "Making Love...", it was
named incorrectly from Napster. Great tunes.
