E.L.O.Synthesizer's & Keyboard's

E.L.O. uses the same Synthesizer's & Keyboard's and - or - Sound as
Vangelis, Queen, Alan Parson's Project and Pink Floyd. But - does anybody
know which Synthesizer's and - or - Keyboard's Alan Parson's Project -
really - used?! Because, I want to make music, just for fun, for my own The
others I found out, Jeff describes it also on Discovery, Time and out of the
Blue. But for Alan Parsons I couldn't find detailed information. Maybe an
E.L.O.-Fan has the same taste as I and knows where i can read after what
they used. Thank You! And if not: Please, excuse mer for a off-topic
question. But I have no clue where I would find it and there is no "Alan
Parsons Project" - Newsgroup. Thank You!

ELO started out using MOOG and ARP synthesziers, but both of those
companies are LONG out of business. Later on ELO used Oberheim (which
as far as I know is also out of business) as well as Roland, Yahmaha,
Korg and Casio keyboards. I'm sure there are others I've forgotten.

They also used a Mellotron (good luck finding one of those). As well
as an arsenal of electric and grand pianos. Wurlitzers, Yamahas,
etc...

It took a little time to come back here, but now I can start looking for my
Synthesizers, because I just like to try playing around with them and I
think most of them are available as VST-Instruments-Versions to play with a
keyboard. Thanks a lot!

I'm again working on my own movies now while 'Im in Pension. A few of them
are shortfilms inspired by ELO-Songs like "Fire on High", "Birmingham
Blues", "Wild West Hero", "Buildings Have Eyes", "Tears in your Life", "Love
changes all", "After All", "Julie don't live here" and the Albums "Time",
"Discovery" and "Eldorado". Anytime I listen to these Songs and their Lyrics
I see the same pictures - over 20 Years now. So I want to make shortfilms
like on Youtube to watch them, just for my own. I really like to see them
and it gives me great fun to listen to those Songs viewing again and again
the same pictures and short stories before my inner eyes. So the Conclusion
for me: Jeff made rich enpictured songs - instrumental and with his Lyrics.

If You know with which Program I could animate the ELO-Spaceships it would
be big help for my "Time" - Movie. You know I want a Sciencefictionmovie
like "Star Trek" or "Star Wars, but with the ELO-Spaceships moving slowly
through Space. I heard of "Poser", an D-Animationsoftware, but maybe You
find another One for me?! You'll see in a few Years I'll get a few kind
shortfilms inspired by Jeff's Songs. All the very Best!
