The Left Wing Progressives Champion Sensitive Bits.
The Right Wing Conservatives Condemn them.

The lefties know that some things in life are gross and disgusting.
They feel that these things can be very embarrassing for people
and feel it is important to show them compassion because of it.
Odd things - sexual immorality, deformed and defective people
through how they came out and accidents they've had in life,
older people, people of alternative religions, and people who don't
always fit so easily in society for various reason - the left wing
understands that it is not easy to be part of the disaffected and
feel it is important to celebrate these things, which is really just
attempting to be positive and put on a brave face about these sorts
of issues. Liberty is quoted because both the left wing and the right
wing feel it is important that we get a lot of say in how our lives are run.

The right wing knows a lot of these odd things are really crude when
it comes right down to it and are more easy to condemn and expose
them.

And usually most people fit somewhere along the line of extremely
compassionate to extremely critical.

Jesus was compassionate of sinners and didn't like the hardlined
attitude of the conservative rabbis who condemned them a lot. He
returned the favour to them by condemning them as best as possible
teaching them that with the judgement they judge they will be judged.
The idea is for them to know how it feels to be the odd ones out.

So this is how it works. The approach you decide on the issues of
morality and sensitive things in life shows who you are and the type
of person you are in the end. And often you will be attracted to people
who fit in your way of thinking a fair bit.

The best way to go is to be wise enough to know this is the battleground
spectrum between the right wing and the left wing and, in all honesty,
don't really enter into the debate very much. Simply, it's best not to
really get involved with warring parties. My advice in the moral decisions
you make for your own life personally is to fear the Lord and follow
his counsel, but don't make a song and dance about it. Keep it quiet
and get on with your own life and finding things to do in life which
don't involve you in the battleground of societies grudges, because
they just cause too much grief in the end
