Mo Mo here you go.

rolla dissects Heaven and Hell songs.

Some or all titles have been changed.

The original name is still there somewhere.

How one fan can ban the man.

1980 - Heaven and Hell
Label - Warner Brothers
Producer and Engineer - Martin Birch

Song 1 - "The Queen of Neon Knights"

This first Sabbath song with Ronnie tells a story of future battles
with enemies that are pretending to be a friend. He uses the words
spell, dragons, light , alright , cry out , street , again etc.

Who knew that 26 years later some people still remember the call?

Song 2 - "They Named Them Children of the Sea"

For the second song Tony has a solo that stands above any guitar
before. It is a hopeless song in parts. Forget that. With strength
unheard of, Ronnie ends the song as pure power. We are the sea!

Song 3 - "When Push Comes To Lady Evil"

A filler song that has great lyrics. No, that's not rats you hear.
It's a witch, no it's a tree? Damn it's the night of course. Simple
drumming by Vinny on the toms, fantastic!

Song 4 - "Make Me a Heaven, Make me a Hell!"

One of the most debated songs by Sabbath/Dio. Surely drugs had an
influence on the lyrics here. Sing me a song? Ok... Jesus loves me
yes I know... Nah, ride your own horse. Take this song and hold onto
it's horns and never let go! Don't ever fall off this horse!!

Song 5 - "If I Had a Penny To Toss In Your Wishing Well"

Stop it. A dream song is all that it is. Women sometimes cling to
men whom they can't have. This makes some men Gods.

Song 6 - "Dead Men Die Young!"

Probably the most disturbing song ever by Dio/Sabbath. Instead of
saying " someone stopped the pain", the words are " someone stopped
the fare". This is like Iron Maiden's "The only good Injun' is tame"
instead of "Dead".

Song 7 - "She Fell Seven Stories and Walked Away"

Some girls try to control their men. Hah, as the lyrics suggest in
this song, not gonna happen. Opening has Ronnie ooohhhiinng bigtime.
No matter what she does it doesn't work. The wire is too high!

Song 8 - "Yeah The Typewriter's Lonely Word is crime"

Superb intro by Tony! A slow way to end a great album. Ronnie boasts
about being very high. Then when he sings "heard" it goes on for quite
awhile. Guitar solo is perfection! Iommi and Dio are two instruments of
different tension that will never be equalled.

He may have lost an inch or two over the years. He's in his 60's after
all.

Some think MR is better. They are very close classics.
