I read where there might be an easter egg of them performing Surrender. Anyone
know if it's true or where to find it on the dvd?

Hi NG,

the easter egg is on the second dvd.
choose "the screening", put the curser on "In your room",
then pushing the right-button on your remote control three times
Now, you can see the eyes of the smiley (on the left side) in red colour.
Choose it and enjoy it ;)

And it also might want to be stated for those who aren't aware that
the "Surrender" performance isn't the band performing it, but rather
Martin singing it as rehearsal while putting on his make-up.

If you play the DVD on a PC with Media Player you access this track directly
without all the pfaffing about.

Did anyone else nearly die of hysterical laughter when they saw this? Don't
get me wrong, I absolutely love it---but there's just something strange about
watching a grown man put on his eye-makeup while singing! ;-)

Anyone know how to access it with an Imac? My only DVD player is on my Imac
and I can't get to it with this magic clicking I hear about. Unless you can
see it without all of the searching on an Imac, and I haven't had the time to
sit and watch the entire DVD - four hours is a long time!!!!! Can anyone
help? Thanks in advance!

What you need to do is go into "screening" and place the curser on "In your
room", then press the right arrow key on your keyboard 3 times. Then move
the curser over on to the smiley (the eyes shoud turn red when you do) and
select it.

Hope it works. That's how I did it.

Enjoy it.

Brilliant! Thank you so much! I'm impressed by Martin's ability to sing and
apply make up (without smudging) simultaneously! I can't do that!

You can't do that? I do it all the time! ;-)

Don't make it too tough... all one has to do (on a Mac... or even iMac) is
drag their cursor over the "eyes" of the smiley face drawing and they turn
RED. Then click on the eyes and the 'easter egg' clip should play for you.
Spoiler: it's Martin singing "Surrender" while getting ready for their
concert.

Yeah, I felt a little weird watching him put make up on. Esp. when it does
nothing to enhance his features - I think the black rings around his eyes
makes him look like a skull on stage. Is it just me?????

You know what I've noticed---as a tour progresses, Mart's makeup gets darker
and bolder. This really does not look appealing on him, and because the
eyeliner is not smudged, the thickness of the lines make his eyes look smaller.
(haha, here I am giving makeup advice!) I saw him at the beginning of the tour
and at that time, his makeup was just right---not too much like it is on the
DVD...I mean, there, he just keeps applying and applying and applying it!

Makeup advice, LOL! The man is pretty enough with out it (esp. since he got
his teeth fixed and is sporting his California tan), why do you think he
even bothers? Habit???

Probably...or maybe he just wants to bring out his eyes while onstage! ;-) Now
if that's the case, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Mart needs to
know that heavy thick unsmudged eyeliner makes one's eyes look smaller!!! LOL
