Assuming you're not a troll, the guy was married to Tawny Kitaen. Stupid
a marrying that little Ho was (he caught her in bed with OJ Simpson,
among others), it exhibited a truly heterosexual lack of judgment.

Actually I am not a troll, nor lonely, I'm female, but I'm new to Deep Purple,
and I saw someone call him David Covergirl, so I just wondered!!

. . . just another one of the unimaginably clever insults arising from
this forum :-)

Sorry, I thought it was a troll. Most everyone except Glover, Lord and Paice have
less than flattering nick-names in this group. The names may or may not have
anything to do with reality.

Only in the way it is used as an adjective to describe someone who is happy and
carefree; merry.

based on the clothes he wore in DP
he could also be described as:
Brightly colorful or ornamental, januty' sporty, full of or given to
lighthearted pleasure.

...it continues.

Is it true that Blackmore almost didn't want to hire Coverdale because he
thought he looked unfashionable? Ironic, considering Coverdale worked in a
menswear store. As if Mr. Pilgrim Hat and White Boots should talk ;-)

DC wanted so desperately to be a cool LA rocker that he married Ratt's
Robbin 'king' Crosby's dumped old slut.. David Lee Roth called her a
"cornball hose bag" in his biography, I guess he has more taste!

Please stop throwing garbage at Cov. OK he did some things in his US years
that he probably regrets now, but he finally broke the US market after years
of trying.
He brought some life into DP and we all thank him for that.

Best regards to all the Purple fans out there.

Definately, Burn is a great album that stands up to any other Purple album.
You can't please everyone though, jusk ask JLT.
