Help make the new DREAM INTO DUST album a reality: http://kck.st/wiyOom

Dream Into Dust is the main project of Derek Rush, but also features
Bryin Dall of Genesis P-Orridge's Thee Majesty. The pair have also
worked on the soundtrack to the film 'The Ballad Of Genesis and Lady
Jaye'.

The new 14-track, 55-minute album, 'So Beautiful And So Dangerous', is
the culmination of years of work and evolution since the 2003 CD The
Lathe Of Heaven. The music crosses industrial, darkwave, electronic,
acoustic, experimental, shoegaze, and metal but retains a cohesive
sound. The album was designed to stand up not just as individual
songs, but as a whole. Musical and lyrical themes repeat in different
songs, each one fades into the next. The recordings were
professionally mastered at Timeless Mastering by Adrian Morgan
(formerly of Sterling Sound).

The cover will be a full-color digipak with an 8-page booklet of
lyrics, detailed credits, and original art photography, some of which
is seen in the preview video on the kickstarter page (http://kck.st/
wiyOom). The CD itself will also have full-color offset printing.

In a time when things seem increasingly ephemeral and disposable, the
idea was to make something worth holding in your hand and looking at
as you listen, to be immersed in a particular world of music, words,
and imagery.

Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing funding service that gives artists a
platform to raise money to get their projects made. Anyone can donate
$1, but there are numerous rewards packages for those who give more.
These include copies of the new album, items from the band’s back
catalogue, t-shirts, and framed and signed original art photos by
Rush, and a digital bonus track only available to those who pledge.

The campaign lasts until the morning of March 15th. For further
details and to pledge to the project, see http://kck.st/wiyOom
