1999 Fall Talent Audition Tour

Have we got a role for you!
Walt Disney World® is holding auditions to cast Actors, Singers, and
Dancers for our may shows and events in Central Florida, including:

Disney Principal Roles - strong vocalists with acting ability, who also
resemble our famous heroes and heroines from classic Disney animated
features. These roles appear in shows such as Beauty and The Beast -
Live On Stage, Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Colors of the Wind, and others!

Actors and Singers - you’ve got the talent, we’ve got the role! Take
center stage in front of thousands of guests! Musical Theatre Performers
- these are our principal vocalists, who act and move well. A real
bonus if you have multiple skills. These performers are showcased
throughout the Walt Disney World Resort in stage shows and special
events. Be a part of the exciting Festival of the Lion King, or take a
bow as a Pioneer Hall Player.

Comedic Improv Actors - we’re looking for male and female actors with
strong improv skills, character types, spontaneous and funny! Helps if
you can carry a tune. We’ve got it all - street performers,
renaissance trunk shows, MC’s,comedy improv shows, and much, MUCH
more!

Dancers - we have over 30 shows and events in every imaginable style
including: high-energy, music video style dancers for The Pleasure
Island Explosion Dancers! Western Can-Can dancers for the Diamond
Horseshoe Saloon Revue, and "Beauty and the Beast - Live on
Stage" as well as many other opportunities.

Contracts begin at various times throughout the year, start at $480.00
week, and are negotiable. All entertainers employed by Walt Disney
World Co. are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective
bargaining agreement with Actors’ Equity Association. Full-time
employees receive a flexible insurance package that fits individual
needs and lifestyles. Other benefits include relocation assistance,
paid vacation and sick days, merchandise discounts, Park admission and
more!

REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must be at least age 18 and be willing to
reloacte to Central Florida.. Please bring a non-returnable photo and
resume. All auditions begin at the times listed, please arrive early to
register. SINGERS please prepare two vocal selections (16 bars of each),
and provide sheet music in the correct key. ACTORS WHO SING please
prepare a one minute comedic monologue plus one vocal selection. Please
provide sheet music in the correct key. ACTORS and IMPROV ACTORS should
prepare a one-minute comedic monologue.. You may be asked to read,
learn additional material, or participate in improvisational exercise.
DANCERS please wear appropriate dance attire/shoes and be prepared to
learn a dance combination. PLEASE NOTE: There may be an initial
type-out audition

We are casting experienced performers with strong background in
traditional theatre for the following principal roles in our live stage
shows:
From Beauty and the Beast: Belle - Age range mid 20’s, 5’5" - 5’8",
lyrical pop theatre voice to E. Gaston - Age range mid 20’s to mid
30’s, 6’1" or taller, baritone with a top G.
Disney’s Doug : Doug - youthful appearance, up to 5’10", tenor. Patty
Mayonnaise - youthful appearance. 5’4" to 5’7", mezzo-soprano.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid: Ariel - Youthful, petite, 5’1" - 5’4",
lyrical soprano pop voice to C.
Hunchback of Notre Dame: Quasimodo - Age range 20 - 30, Body type is
stocky, yet athletic. 5’6" or shorter. Tenor. Clopin - Age range 25 -
35, Strong musical theatre performer who moves well. Body type is
wiry/agile, 5’6" - 5’10". Tenor. Esmerelda - Age range 20-30, Body
type is athletic/dancer, 5’8" - 5’10". Must be strong dancer with
strong vocal ability. Alto with full voice to C. Phoebus - Strong
actor who does not sing. Witty, ladies man. Body type is tall and
broad, soldier-like.
Colors of the Wind: Pocahontas - female actor who sings, second
soprano, good speaking voice, athletic build, 5’6" or taller, must be
willing to work with animals.
