This may seem kinda silly, but I was reading the obituaries in the paper
yesterday before leaving work for the night, it was then I ead about
Dan's passing. I lost it for a moment, for his music has, and continues
to mean so much to me. My heart goes out to Jean and his family and
friends. For what it's worth, His body of work over the years will
forever be there to remind us of what a gifted man he truly was. May
your soul Dan, and those of all the faithfully departed...rest in
peace....

I heard the sad news on the radio yesterday morning and I lost it as
well. It felt as if a part of my youth had died and am saddened
because the world lost a good man. My condolences go out to his
family and those most close to him. I had hoped that he would recover
for my own selfish reasons of wanting more. However, he left so much
behind for us to enjoy and listen, and though he may be gone today,
his words and music will continue to live on.
