Our public tv station is airing a program of Dan in 2004 and it makes
me so sad. He was probably ill there, don't know if he knew then or
not, but to me he doesn't look or sound like I remember him. He
doesn't look happy. I feel such sadness because his songs were so
beautiful and he had to be such a beautiful soul to write them. I have
been in tears watching him. I remember when I was in college years
ago in his heyday and my young years, how much his music meant to me.
I am sad that his life was cut short by this illness. I hope he knew
how many people love him!
