I remember that Dan released a song called "Hearts
and Crafts" as the B side of a 45 from the late
70s or really early 80s. Anyone remember which
single this came from? I really liked the song,
but alas, the 45 is long gone.
Do you know of any other of his semi-released
songs?
Paul.
The Show (8 O'clock Disaster) - (circa 1976)
Plastered in Paris - (circa 1979)
You're All Mine Tonight - (circa 1987)
I'm also searching for any ROS live material out there, but especially any
shows with Dan doing 'Here Comes the Sun'. Also still looking for 'Don't Let
that Sun Go Down'. Would also appreciate any info on a Dan penned tune
entitled 'Icarus Ascending'. Has anyone ever heard this song?
Please e-m me with any info you might have. Willing to buy or trade.

As far as other unreleased songs that I know about:
"Nature Of The Game" - A blues tune that I first heard on the "high Country
Snow" tour and was also played on the most recent tour.
"Chauvinist Song" - actual title unknown but perhaps is actually called "Don't
Reverse The Charge" played in the 70s
"All Mine Tonight" - short little opening song played on several tours in the
late 80s and 90s
"Don't Let The Sun Go Down" - played on the 1993 tour and I think a couple
other tours after that. Lyrics include references to "Christ on Calvary".
"Fire and Ice" - I've never heard it but it was played at some of the shows on
the most recent tour.
Dan has also played quite a few "covers" of songs by other people over the
years ... but that's probably a whole different thread we could follow if
anyone is interested.
Enjoy the Music ! - Paul
Paul, do you know whether this 45 had a picture sleeve released with it or not?
I recently acquired some artist's proofs for some of Dan's music releases and
one of the proofs was for a picture sleeve for 'Go Down Easy' - but I don't
ever remember seeing one. In fact, there weren't that many picture sleeves
released with Dan's 45's if I remember correctly.
Would appreciate any info from anyone on exactly which singles had picture
sleeves issued wtih them.
Thx a bunch.
Have you talked to Bergman on the message center? He has an extensive
DF collection and may have some ideas for you.

Mine was on a radio airplay release of "Lang Syne". I sat
in a dark studio years ago and hardly breathed until the
last echo of that sax riff died. Then I sat there some more.
Didn't even think to flip it over until after Christmas and then I
found "Hearts and Crafts"
