I'd never seen this undated photo, which I found on Pretty Miss Norma
Jean's web site.

At the very bottom of the page, there is a photo of Kitty Wells, Dell
Wood, Jan Howard, Skeeter Davis, Minnie Pearl, Dolly Parton, Jeannie
Pruitt, Norma Jean, and Jean Shepard.

Wonder when it was taken. Minnie and Skeeter are no longer with us. (I
don't know about Dell -- I don't know anything about her, actually.)

The photo caption said "Dell" and that's how I was searching, but of
course that was wrong.

Del, too, has passed on.

The article said she died following complications of a stroke which she
had on the day she was supposed to appear on the Legendary Ladies of
Country Music show in 1989. I'm wondering if that's when the photo was
taken.
